Sea monkeys are a fun pet to raise. They are very special. Just add water and you have a whole tank full of these little creatures to raise and watch. You can spend hours watching these little guys (and girls) frolic around their specially designed tank. The best thing: even an idiot could take care of them!!!!!
Sea Monkeys: The truth about brine shrimp
Brine shrimp(AKA Sea Monkeys) are a relative of lobsters, Crabs, Fairy shrimp, and other crustaceans. They are found not in the ocean, but, in salt lakes and in salt evaporation flats. They are part of what is called "cryptobiosis", which means hidden life because inside their eggs they can remain alive for many years.
They were collected as eggs or alive to be "fishfood". Never thought of as having pet qualities, people soon discovered they were very desirable pets.
